Burnpur

Burnpur city, the city got its name from the Managing Agency house, Burn & Co., which promoted IISCO in 1918. The township came up with the construction of the iron-making plant. The Indian Standard Wagon factory was also set up in 1918 and shared the township with IISCO.

    I have been spent my life from starting to 1990 passed graduate in 1984 then shifted to delhi for job. Really love my city very much it is really twon where that time 24 hr light, company flat, water greenery. but now i just remembered the town, friends many other things which happened there.     School Result - CBSE 10th Std for year 2014 - Students appeared 40, All students scored above 60%, 17 students scored above 80%, 5 students scored above 90%. Three cheers for Debashishda.
